Connect to live BBS systems from your browser — no telnet client needed.
Where: /bbs-directory
Browsing: see a grid of listed BBSes with screenshots, name, host:port, terminal type (ANSI, PETSCII, Amiga, ATASCII), and description.
Connecting:
- Click any BBS tile.
- A terminal window opens with a proper in-browser emulator (xterm + CP437 decoding for DOS BBSes, PETSCII/ATASCII fonts for retro terminals).
- Log in as if you were using a real telnet client — your account is proxied through our gateway.
Submitting your own BBS:
- Visit
/bbs-directory→ Submit BBS. - Provide host, port, terminal type, description, and a screenshot.
- Admins review and approve.
Featured BBSes: sysops who want a permanent featured spot can message @Patrick to arrange it.
