Spin up a new forum for a topic or community you care about.
Where: /forums/create
How to use:
- Click Create a Forum (link in the forum index sidebar).
- Enter a name, URL slug, and short description.
- Click Create Forum.
Where it goes: regular members automatically land in the User Communities category. Admins and category super-mods can override and pick a different category.
You're the owner: by default, community-style presentation is turned on. Upload a cover and icon to brand it, invite your first members, and start threads. You can appoint sub-moderators from /forums/{slug}/moderators.
Changing ownership: use /forums/{slug}/resign — pass the torch to another user who accepts.
