Every community forum can publish a set of numbered rules, Facebook-style.

Where: the Rules tab in the community tab bar at the top of any community forum, or directly at /forums/{slug}/rules.

What you'll see:

  • Each rule displays as its own card with a large #N number tag.
  • Rule bodies support Markdown — bold, italic, links, code, and lists all render.
  • Click any rule to copy a direct anchor link (#rule-1, #rule-2, etc.) — handy for citing a specific rule in a moderator reply.

Who sets rules: the forum's owner, any appointed moderator, a category super-mod (if the forum sits in a category they super-mod), an admin, or a super admin. Regular members see the Rules tab but can't edit.

Empty state: if no rules are set, the page shows a short note. Moderators get a "Add some" link that takes them straight to the editor.

Tip: a rule is one blank-line-separated block. To add a new rule, hit Enter twice in the editor and start typing. Keep each rule short (a sentence or two) so the numbered list reads quickly.
