Every mod / super-mod / admin action is posted as a locked thread to the public Privilege Use forum, authored by @team_6502ish. Expect to see your own actions there within a few seconds of pressing the button.

What gets posted (when you're the actor):

  • Warnings, suspensions, bans, shadow-bans, unbans
  • Post / thread purges, forum-level bans, escalations
  • Forum-description edits, rule edits, moderator appointments (for owners)
  • Report-queue resolutions (warn / suspend / ban / shadow-ban / dismiss)

What doesn't get posted: routine user activity (login, logout, registration, onboarding, account self-service) — those stay in the audit_log table only.

Threads are locked, so nobody — including you — can reply to an audit entry. If you need to add context after the fact, add a Moderator Note on the affected user's admin page instead; those show up in the mod log against the user.

Take this seriously. The transparency forum is public. Community members can read your moderation history. Be the mod you'd want reviewing your own appeal.
