Report and Ignore: Keep Your Community Experience Clean
You can now report any post or user and choose to ignore them afterward, just like on Facebook.
How to Report a Post
Every post has a flag icon on the far right of the action bar (next to the like/dislike buttons). Click it, describe the issue, and submit. The report goes to our moderators at /admin/moderation for review.
How to Report a User
Visit their profile and click the Report button. Select a reason, add details if needed, and submit.
Ignore After Reporting
After submitting a report, you will be offered the option to ignore the user. If you choose to ignore them:
- You will not see their posts or threads
- They will not see your posts or threads
- They cannot send you messages
- They cannot view your profile
This is the same as the existing Block feature, but now it is offered right when you need it most — after reporting.
Managing Blocked Users
You can view and unblock users at any time from Blocked Users in your user menu. Blocking is always reversible.
