Move a misplaced thread to a more appropriate forum.
Where: open the thread → click Move thread in the mod menu.
How to use:
- Pick the destination forum from the dropdown (you must have moderation authority there too — or be a category super-mod / admin).
- Optionally leave a pointer-thread behind in the original forum.
- Confirm.
What happens: thread + all its posts are re-parented to the new forum. Subscriptions move with it. Both forums have their thread-count / post-count updated. The move is logged in both forums' mod logs.
When to use: a user posted a C64 question in the Amiga forum; a project log got started in general discussion instead of the projects forum; etc.
