Kick a hard case up the chain — with tracked resolution.
Where: Mod Tools dropdown → Escalate to SysOps.
How to use:
- Fill in the subject and detailed description.
- Submit.
What happens:
- A thread is created in the Escalations to Admins forum (visible to admins + super-mods + super-admins only).
- A tracking row is inserted in the moderation queue at
/admin/moderationwith status = open, type =forum_escalation. - Every admin + super-admin gets an in-app notification linking straight to the moderation queue entry.
Resolution: an admin reviews and either resolves (with notes that are shared with you) or dismisses (also with shared notes — unlike user-content reports, the determination is disclosed because mods are team). The resolution is posted as a reply to your escalation thread, the thread is locked, and you're notified.
Status banner: while open, your escalation thread shows an "Awaiting admin review" banner. On resolution it updates to "Resolved" with the admin's name and close timestamp.
