One-on-one (or small group) direct conversations.
Where: /messages
Starting a conversation:
- Go to someone's profile and click Send Message, or visit
/messages/start. - Type your message and hit Send.
Inside a conversation:
- Attach images (up to 10 MB each) by clicking the paperclip.
- Typing indicator shows when the other party is composing.
- Delivered/read receipts appear as small icons next to each message.
- Markdown works — bold, italic,
code, links.
Archive & delete:
- Archive moves the thread out of your inbox into
/messages/archived. - Delete removes your copy; the other party still has theirs.
Safety: you can't be messaged by blocked users. Report abusive messages with the flag icon — they go to the moderation queue.
